The latest issue of HeavyDuty magazine is hitting the shelves as I type... it's seriously stacked with quality - 22 bikes featured. Standouts for me were both of the cover bikes and of course Bull's Emerald Twilight which I painted late last year.

Do yourself a favour, buy one for your neighbor ;)

I've noticed that some people mistake my lettering for decals, which is not the case. It's always paint, and usually customised or totally original. The logo's and lettering are hand dawn then traced using a computer, then cut with a vinyl sign plotter and used as a mask to airbrush through, however I sometimes will do traditional brushed, hand cut or goldleaf lettering.

Although it may take some time to create original motifs and lettering - its nice to know your bike is custom... right down to the letter.

Look out for more of this type of work at my bike week display.

Here's some examples of Josh Kurpius's photography... amazing work. Check out his site if you like what you see here - there's loads of cool images and often with links to the sites of the builders / models in the pics.

This has nothing to do with custom paint... but check it out any way. I took a week and a half off and went to Melbourne and while in St Kilda met the biggest dog I've ever seen. No.. there is nothing behind the wall for him to stand on...

I'll have at least two new profiles up by the end of the month, but in the mean time have a laugh at this. Its cheesy but it cracks me up every time I look at it. It's from the feb issue of Heavy Duty mag...

The job I'm working on at the moment is looking good... but is also doing my head in. I keep thinking "this bike is going to be the death of me." Which, considering the subject matter, is kind of ironic. It'll be a few weeks before its profile is up on the site, but here's a sneak peak.
